Love encompasses many things, including commitment, the best friendship, comfort and happiness, butterflies, and giggles. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find love. Where can you find someone with whom you can fall deeply, completely, and utterly in love? Is it in the books section of your neighbourhood bookshop, or is it the person who has been playing the same song on repeat for the past two weeks?

Drawing comics about love has always been one of my favourite subjects. The littlest things someone does for us make us feel loved more than large gestures. I enjoy adding that touch of love to everyday circumstances.

I attempt to craft enchanted tales around those insignificant yet significant events that just give life meaning.

Those little but meaningful events that just make life worthwhile are the basis for my attempts to craft enchanted tales.

Beautiful animal photos abound on my Instagram feed since I follow a lot of wildlife photographers and animal-related sites. I keep those that I think are special and have a relevant expression. My journey to write the tale for that image starts there. Sometimes I simply have an idea for a tale and hold onto it until I locate a photo that fits the story.

"Do It, Just Do It!" is a quote by Shia LaBeouf that I frequently use when new artists ask me for guidance on how to begin making comics. You only grow better with practice and experience after you start. Therefore, simply have faith in the process and don't be afraid to start.
