Strangest Animals

In world their are many animals about which many peoples doesn't know. They are very adorable and very charming in their look. They have many characteristics and many abilities, but many peoples doesn't know them.

Pangolin

Pangolins are most incredible creature that is much demanded from many countries. They are mammals and are founded in Africa Asia. China has much demand for this mammal due to their scales. Their scales play very vital role in medicine. They have high cost rate because of their delicious meat and uniqueness of scales. Pangolins are only mammals who have scales. They are well defender. They face many threats in wild. Their scales work as drill and drill very long dens in land. They are in endanger because peoples hunt them for money.

Okapi

Okapi are known for their beautiful skin and tasty meal. They live in rain forest where no light fall and all dark. They have strong sense of hearing which help them to detect hidden predators. They are not easily preyed. Okapi is symbol of importance of life. Okapi is look like giraffe but skin like zebra. They are also known as zebra giraffe. Okapi's are very old creature on land but it is very difficult to find okapi in thick forest due to their secretive nature. They have strong hearing so they covered himself. They feed on leaves and fruits and some type of fungi.

Markhor

Markhor habitat is mountains of Afghanistan and north western Pakistan. They are known for its impressive spiral horns. Their horns can grow up to 1.5 metres long. Their body is like goat but they are very bigger then goats. Markhor is representative of Pakistan's national animal. They live at altitude of 4000-12000 feet in Pakistan's mountain. Their names is derived from Persian ''mar'' means snake and ''khor'' means eater. They have ability to kill snakes. They feed upon grass, shrubs and twigs. They also eat snakes. Markhor can jump 8 feet high. They have smell that repel predators. They also fight with each other by locking horns and pushing each other like wrestlers.

Tapir

A tapir is most attractive animal due to its unique prehensile nose. They use their nose for grabbing leaves and as snorkel while swimming. They are very fast swimmers. Their shape is like pig, elephants. But they closed to horses and rhinoceros. They are gentle and docile animals and attack when feel threat. Tapirs hide in thick forest and sleep most of the day and walk in afternoon to forage. Tapir are solitary animals. Tapirs have unpredictable behaviour they attack without warning. They communicate through Whistling. They like bananas.

Binturong

Binturong are the only mammal in Africa, Asia and second carnivore that has prehensile tail. Their tail also help them to climb on trees. They work as a hand. They are also known as Asian bear cat. They are very close to bears. They also have scent of buttered pop corns. They have sharp teeth and claws and spend most of their time in climbing trees. They are carnivore but their diet is herbivore. They hunt mostly in night. They prey on birds, lizards, fishes. They are fierce and not be adopted as a pet.

Aardvark

Aardvark are mammal and his names means EARTH PIG. This nocturnal animal have long nose and keen sense of smell to sniff out ants. They lap-up these ants with anteater like tongue with sticky saliva. They have sharp claws and powerful legs to dig out ants. Aardvark dig burrows to live. Their number of population is decreasing continuously. They can't see well, but they have strong hearing and sense of smell. They are very friendly with humans must keep aware from their claws. They sleep during day in form of ball. They come out during night for hunt. They see well in night. Aardvark live for 20 to 23 years. Aardvark looks that they are made from different parts of different animals.

Numbat

Numbat's are known as small tigers due to their stripes. They are carnivores and feed upon termites. A numbat eat 20000 termites daily. They have long sticky tongue for eating termites. They active during day. They dig for termites on forest floor, small holes. They can't attack on humans. They have long nose to smell for food. They don't have proper teeth. They have gummy mouth. They have strong claws with five toes for digging and climbing on trees. They have threat from foxes and wild cats. Numbats sit like meerkats and when they sense danger they freeze or run under bush.

Fossa

Fossa is the largest carnivore and top predator. Their main food is lemurs, small creatures like mice and wild pigs. They sharp teeth and powerful claws for hunting. They are largest killer of lemur species. They take long leaps to catch birds and mice's. They mostly sleeps in trees and in caves. They have long tails and help them to make balance when climbing or leaping. They live on an island never go any where.
